With English computer based education, complemented by innovative methods for overall development and blossoming of each individual, Bharata Padhao  project empower rural children to meet future challenges. Scholarships for the underprivileged children ensure that affordability is not a hurdle. Youth for Unity intention and goal is to start at least one English medium school in each of the 79 Villages in Mudhol Taluk and through them, intervene in the Govt. schools around them to raise the quality of education in the Rural Govt schools as well.

Bharata Padhao currently operates 8 schools ( in Mudhol Taluk) with 600+ students of whom 58% are on scholarship. The rest of the students pay a nominal fee. Each school will support 80 students when completed. With the experiences gained, Youth For Unity ensure to benefit the critical interventions that will make a dramatic impact on the quality of education in these schools.

Bharata Padhao offers several opportunities for committed individuals and socially responsible corporations to participate in this endeavor - from providing capital to set up the infrastructure and sponsoring students, to contributing towards various other facilities and equipment, such as computer labs, sports facilities, transport facilities, library books or sponsor nutritious noon meals for the children, etc. You could also sponsor the initiatives at an adopted Govt. school or the salary for badly needed additional teachers in these schools.

Our combined initiative and support will make all the difference in the life and future of rural children for whom a quality education is the only ladder that could help them and their families climb out of the abyss of poverty.

Bharata Padhao functions on a grass-roots level, relying on community involvement and the support of innumerable volunteers and donors. Through this website, we invite you to learn more about Bharata Padhao and join us in our efforts to empower the rural youth of India!
